At various times the following were noted:- Mooney M20 G-ATOU on apron 1. PA-28 G-BMTR in the circuit as was Andover XS646 as TESTER 07. B-747 9G-MKM was engine running on the runway and was due to depart as MKA 747. 9G-MKF was tuged from apron 4 to the Brab hanger. AS 355 G-LUVY landed for fuel as Special 72. Surprise departure Air Berlin B-737 at 18.50 reported as EC-ILX which it arrived as around 25-04-05.

Noted at 12.15 were Corvettes F-GLAP and F-GLAS this one used call sign Aerovision 309A. A lso Jetstream 31 G-IJYS which arrived as Eastern 165. All were on apron 1.

French visitors today were F-GTJM TBM-700 and F-GJAP Corvette on apron 1. Ex Korean B-747 9G-MKR arrived as MKA108P from Ostend at 13.20. SkyService B-767 G-DAJC tugged from Brab hangar to apron 3 and departed at 14.57 to Manchester (as MYT006M), registration C-GJJC is taped over. Sky News AS355 G-SKYN was on south side H. Eastern Jetstream 41 G-MAJM landed at 13.10 as EZE103. In the circuit were PA-28's G-BSXB, and G-BPMR. BAe 146 G-UKSC was taxing on the runway. Still parked up were DC-8 9G-MKF, B-747 G-CCMA, B-767 VP-CME and 3 white 146's G-JEAO, BTNU and BZTN.

B-747 9G-MKM landed at 12.55 as MKA 994.

Today on apron 2 is AS-355 G-SKYN which landed as Sky News 1 on 22-04-05, it is staying till 25-04-05. OLT SAAB 2000 weekend stopper is D-AOLB.

Additional movements: G-NATT Commander 114; G-BWDT Piper PA-34 Seneca; G-SKYN Squirrel.

Maule M.7 N1027G landed at 10.35ish and parked on apron 2 with Be 36 G-JLHS. Lear Jet 35 D-CFAX departed from apron 1 at 11.10 leaving Be 200 N771SC on apron 1. Cessna 404 departed at 11.07 as Prestige 5. BAe 146 G-BTTP has departed to Exeter and G- UKSC was engine running and taxied under its own power so these two should be delivered soon. Making a fine sight departing off 09 was 9G-MKK at 15.55, plenty of smoke nice long trail. Thank to Phil for I.D.

additional movements: G-NCFC Piper PA-38 Tomahawk; G-BTTP BAe 146, departed to Stansted for further maintenance before delivery to Eurowings. First flight since arrival on on 6/10/2003.

Eastern Airways J-31 G-IJYS departed as EZE 166 at 16.14, on apron 1 were Corvette F-GKGA and air ambulance Lear 35A D-CFAX had just landed as IFA1086. On apron 2 were Be 36 G-JLHS , Be 55 N7148R and Ces 525 G-SFCJ. All white DC-8 9G-MKH was being tugged from the west end of the runway to the Brab hanger.

Noted at 13.45 engine running behind KFC at the Mall was DC-8 9G-MKK. Also seen were 2 PA-28s G-BPMR and G-EKIR. On apron 3 was Jetstream 41 G-MAJN on EZE 103/104. DC-8 9G-MKN landed as MKA 789 at 17.55, Thanks to Phil K.

Corvette F-GLEC landed around 08.10 and then some of the morning doing cicuits. N771SC Be 200 landed at 08.37 and then parked on apron 1. PA-28'S G-BASJ and BBXW were in the pattern from 11.20. S-76 G-JCBA landed on the southern H around 10.00 and departed at 13.00 as JCB 3. At 11.43 Oxford 19 G-GOAC arrived over head to do it's training, while Be 200 G-KVIP bashed the circuit from 13.45 onwards.

Noted between 15.35 and 15.55 were Saab 2000 D-AOLA on apron 3. PA-28's in the circuit were G-BSOK, BPKR, EKIR and BASJ. My Travel B-767 G-DIMB landed at 15.45 as MYT 001P from Manchester while B-737 D-ADBN departed in new flythompson colours with OH or DH on the nose u/c door top of tail, it used Speedway 553P call sign at 15.55. The usual contenders were still on apron 4. Police helicopter G-WCAO EC-135 arrived at 16.00.

MK Airlines DC-8 9G-MKK landed as MKA 123 at 11.15 it went straight to apron 4 which is full now with DC-8 9G-MKF, B-747 G-CCMA, B-767 VP-CME, BAe 146's (all white) G-JEAO, G-BTNU, G-BTZN, Eurowings G-BTTP and G-UKSC also there. PA-34 G-GAFA departed as Exam 05 at 11.22. TB-20 Trinidad N33NW visited between 14.10 and 15.10. While MK Airlines B-747 9G-MKS ex Korean departed as MKA 701 at 14.32.

Seen between 13.45 and 14.15 was R.A.F Tristar ZE705 in the circuit using c/s Ascot 901. Dove G-ARHW departed at 15.00 as Synergy 705 and Stadium 09 Ces 560XL G-CBRGdeparted at 17.50. Many thanks Phil C, Phil k, Roger, and Andy for tie ups.

Noted at 11.45 on apron 1 were Corvette F-GLEC and Vickers Ship Building Co Beech 200 G-CDFY. G-BBSM Cherokee six still on apron 2 while PA-28 G-BRBB landed. At 12.30 to 13.00 C-17 ZZ172 was in the circuit, I.D thanks to Pete and Phil of Severnside.

Noted at 15.45 were I.L.S. checker Be 200 G-FPLD, on apron1 Avanti I-FXRC and Corvette F-GLEC. Ces 550 G-ORDB landed and taxied round ready to depart again. On apron 2 was Cirrus SR22 N147VC and Cherokee Six G-BBSM. Still on apron 3 was GULF 1159 N104V V. At 18.44 Monarch Airbus G-OJMR departed to Gatwick as MON 306P in flymonarch.com colours, nice. Thanks to Phil K for confirming details on Monarch and Cherokee.

On and around apron 3 at 19:00 - D-AOLA OLT Saab 2000; D-APAB Privatair A319; 9G-MKF MK DC-8 55; N104VV Gulf 2SP.
On the hangar pan earlier in the day - 9G-MKC MK DC-8 55; 9G-MKG DC-8 62; 9G-MKH DC-8 62. In Centre Bay was 9G-MKS Boeing 747, still in basic Korean colours.
Others reported earlier - G-SEWP AS.355N; G-GOAC PA-34 Seneca; G-BBSM PA-32; G-MAJC Eastern Jetstream 41.

On apron 1 at 11.10 was Rockwell 114B G-HMBJ, while at 11.14 TB-20 G-SAPM did a touch and go. Cessna 172 G-AVHH did the same at 11.16. Grummen 1159 N104VV landed at 11.55 ish and parked on apron 3. At 15.22 suprise aircraft of the day was dba Boeing 737 D-ADBN which arrived as Speedway 551P and taken around to the back of the Brabazon hangar.

This weekends O.L.T. Saab 2000 stopper is D-AOLA. Also noted at 12.15 were P.A-28's AYRI and G-EKIR. Over by the hanger behind apron 2 was Bolkow B.O. 209 G-AZVA.

Capital Trading's Cessna 404 G-TVIP departed at 08.15 as Prestige 05 for Boscombe Down. All white 9G-MKH DC-8 M.K Airlines arrived at 10.34 as M.K.A. 123 from Ostend and PA-28 G-BTAW did a go / round at 11.38.

Departing at 07.40 was VP-CLD. Corvette F-GKGA was doing circuits between 09.45 and 10.40. G-BATN PA-23 landed as Marshells 09 and Lear Jet 45 N708SP arrived at 10.00 and parked on apron 1. G-IJYS Jetstream 31 landed as EZE 165 at 11.11 while TB-20 G-BYTB departed late afternoon. Stored aircraft on the airfield are VP-CME B-767, G-CCMA B-747 Southern Winds colours, BAe 146'sG-BTTP and UKSC in Euro Wings colours. All white BAe 146's G-BTZN / BTNU / JEAO. Also for the last 3 days 9G-MKF DC-8 is parked with them. Best aicraft out there Concord G-BOAF south side beyond the Brab hanger.
